A.S. in Occupational Therapy


If a career as a Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant is a good fit for you, you should start your application process as soon as possible—admission is offered on a rolling basis and fills quickly.

Please see the list of requirements below:

  • A.S. in Occupational Therapy Application
  • Official Transcripts—Please send official sealed transcripts from high school, and, if applicable any colleges you attended.
  • Resume
  • Personal Statement—Describe your career goals, how Jefferson's A.S. in Occupational Therapy program will assist you in achieving these goals, and some of the reasons you are considering OT as a career. (1-2 pages, double spaced)
  • Site Visit Form—You must observe occupational therapy practitioners at two sites with different consumer populations and settings, and complete the site visit form. Be prepared to discuss your experiences at a pre-admission interview.
  • Interview—You will be contacted to schedule an interview after all items have been submitted.

    • Select fall or spring term as the start date
    • Complete all relevant fields and submit the application
