Read. Read. Eat. Read. Sleep. Read. Design. Read. More Reading. Sleep. Design. Read. Structures. Read. Read. Study/Read. Read.

With the approach of critical dates for multiple research papers fast approaching, the past week has been a consummation of white pages lined with little black symbols. Because the past week has been so writing intensive, it might be best to summarize it as such.

A Pattern Language. by Christopher Alexander.

Reading it for both fun and for the simple notion that some claim it as the architect’s “bible”. The book is one in a trilogy of books that explains optimal ways to design cities, streets, buildings, windows, etc. in a way that is practical.

The Pennsylvania Barn. by Robert F. Ensminger.

In design, we are currently on developing a building that will serve as

Foods: Chinese, Thai

Bands: Relient K, Panic at the Disco, All Time Low and the list goes on...

Activities: Painting, Reading, taking pictures, traveling

Movies: Accepted, Finding Nemo, The Ringer

Books: Angels and Demons, The DaVinci Code, Twilight, The Hitchhiker's Guide to The Galaxy...

Color: too many to choose from
