Philadelphia University recognizes the achievements and contributions of its alumni through the following award programs. Nominations for these awards may be made by any member of the Philadelphia University community. Awards are presented each year during Alumni Weekend.
- Frank L. Giese Award
The Frank L. Giese Award was established by Philadelphia University alumni in 1970 in honor of Dr. Frank L. Giese, Professor Emeritus of Textiles. The award is presented in recognition of an individual's major innovation in the design, technology or marketing of textile products and outstanding achievement and significant impact on the textile industry.
- Leadership in Philanthropy Award
The Leadership in Philanthropy Award was founded in 2013 and honors visionary leaders and philanthropists.
- Time, Talent, and Treasure Award
Philadelphia University's Time, Talent and Treasure Award was established in 2001 to honor an outstanding alumnus/a who has contributed time, talent and treasure through a commitment to the mission of the University and to future generations of Philadelphia University students.
- Young Alumni Achievement Award
Established in 2009 by the Alumni Association's First 5 Council, the Young Alumni Achievement Award honors and recognizes the personal and professional achievements of a graduate of the last ten years.
