As a Senior (2006-07):
Had an outstanding senior campaign for the Rams, earning Daktronics
NCAA Division II National Player of the Year honors while also earning
consensus first-team All-America accolades...Finished the year with 21.7
ppg and 11.2 rpg, helping Philadelphia University to a berth in the NCAA
Division II Tournament...Ranked second in the Central Atlantic
Collegiate Conference (CACC) and 15th in the nation in scoring as well
as leading the league and ranking second in the country in
rebounding...Also ranked second in the CACC in blocked shots per game
and third in field goal percentage... For his efforts, was named the ECAC
Division II Player of the Year as well as the Herb Good Small College
Player of the Year...Was also tabbed the CACC Player of the Year, was a
four-time CACC Player of the Week selection and earned CACC
All-Tournament honors...Was invited to participate in the NCAA Division
II All-Star game in Springfield, Mass., earning East MVP
honors...Concluded his stellar two-year career with the Rams ranked 39th
all-time in scoring with 1,097 points while his 122 career blocked shots
ranks seventh all-time...His 630 points scored as a senior is the
tenth-best single-season total in school history...Registered a
league-high 18 double-doubles in 29 games including ten consecutive to
open the season...Poured in a career-high 38 points, hitting 16 of 20
shots from the floor, and grabbed 17 rebounds in a key win at CACC
preseason favorite Bloomfield College on December 7th...Scored 20 or
more points in 17 of 29 games including four games with 30 or more.
As a Junior (2005-06):
Earned Central Atlantic Collegiate Conference (CACC) second-team
All-Conference honors after posting 16.7 ppg and a league-high 9.8 rpg •
Also topped the conference with 61 blocked shots, the tenth-best
single-season total in
school history • Shot 56.9% from the field to top the Rams while also
ranking fifth in the CACC • Led the team with eight double-doubles,
including a 31-point, 17-rebound outburst in a win at Post University on
December 3rd • Scored in double-figures in 25 of 28 contests, missing
three games at the Disney Tip-Off Classic with an ankle injury • Earned
CACC Player of the Week honors for the week of December 8th • Transfer from Division I Quinnipiac University
where he played in 48 games in two seasons with the Bobcats.
At Hamilton Township:
Was named third-team All-State by the Associated Press as a senior,
averaging 19.8 ppg, 15.3 rpg and 3.2 blocks per game • Led Hamilton to a
21-5 record as a senior, including the Colonial Valley Conference title
and berth in the semifinals of the Central Jersey Group III tournament •
Was also tabbed First-Team All-County, County Player of the Year and
First-Team All-Area as a senior.
