Philadelphia University’s sixth episode of Runway Challenge aired April 7 at 2
p.m. on NBC10’s 10! show. This week's challenge involved designing for the
Spiegel customer using fabrics from the "Spiegel's Signature" collection.
Among the judges was Liza Parks, Vice President of Spiegel Brands.
Gina Amato chose
"natural sophistication" for "a woman of any age." Clara Henry, director of the
Fashion Design Program at Philadelphia University thought it was reminiscent of
"old Hollywood glamour." It was not only enough to land Gina in the top spot for the
week, but her design will also be on display at the Spiegel store in King of
Prussia, PA as well earning a feature spot online at
www.Spiegel.com.
Competition was tough, and Michele Guan's design, though "runway ready" did
not quite fit the Spiegel look. With only four contestants left, the excitement mounts! Find out who's going to the next round, and who's going home, next week at 2
p.m. on NBC10’s 10! show.
