RETENTION TASK FORCE
On Sept. 10, 2008, the retention task force presented student retention data to a broad group of faculty and staff at roundtable discussions. The Power Point presentation, with audio narration, can now be downloaded from faculty/staff restricted area of the IR website at https://www.philau.edu/ir/facstaff/
The Retention Task Force is charged by the President to examine information related to student attrition and student success with the goal of increasing the University graduation rate.
RTF will review and integrate available data distilling meaning to enhance our understanding of the factors related to attrition/retention.
RTF will explore additional information gathering to expand our retention knowledge base. A critical role for RTF will be to disseminate, as broadly as possible, information about retention at Philadelphia University, to involve the campus community in discussions about retention and to recommend initiatives.
RTF’s membership represents diverse units of the
University with the expectation that members will serve as conduits to
receive suggestions from the community and to ensure broad
discrimination of information and retention initiatives.
