Course Request Form

Blackboard, ERes, iTunes University

Blackboard can help you manage the day-to-day operations of your course; deliver course materials in an anytime, anywhere fashion; streamline the homework and grading process through assignments and electronic submissions; communicate with students via e-mail and discussion boards; facilitate communication between you and your students and among your students; create online assessments, both graded and ungraded; and post links to online information resources.

ERes, which stands for Electronic Reserve, is a program from Docutek maintained by the Gutman Library. This program allows libraries at educational institutions to provide reserve documents to faculty and students via the Internet. An Instructor can post documents of any type (e.g., Microsoft Word, Microsoft PowerPoint, Adobe Acrobat, images), as well as links to web sites. One of the more popular features of ERes is DocuFax. DocuFax allows an Instructor to fax a hard copy to the ERes Server where it is converted to Adobe Acrobat format, thereby eliminating the need for scanning.

iTunes University

iTunes University is Philadelphia University's new audio and video communication tool for our faculty and students. If you are interested in doing video presentations, audio presentations or even synching your PowerPoint, images, audio and video together, please fill out the designated fields.
