ERes Resources for Faculty
What is ERes?
ERes, which stands for Electronic Reserve, is a program from Docutek maintained by the Gutman Library. This program allows libraries at educational institutions to provide reserve documents to faculty and students via the Internet.
An Instructor can post documents of any type (e.g., Microsoft Word, Microsoft PowerPoint, Adobe Acrobat, images), as well as links to web sites. One of the more popular features of ERes is DocuFax. DocuFax allows an Instructor to fax a hard copy to the ERes Server where it is converted to Adobe Acrobat format, thereby eliminating the need for scanning.
To request an ERes account, complete the ERes Account Request Form. An account will be created within 1 to 2 business days. You will receive an e-mail confirmation when your account has been activated.
