The Library's website is an ideal place to find information for your research because it was built with that purpose in mind! While anyone can browse through the website, only Philadelphia University students, faculty & staff have access to many fee-based, subscription resources. |
Strengths:
- The library pays for access to electronic databases, e-journals,
and e-books. This information is NOT freely available to the general public. - Online subscription-based resources have been carefully chosen by librarians and faculty members, to support PhilaU students and their research needs
- Specialized information can be obtained quickly and easily
- May not include the most current information on some topics
- The amount of information may be limited for some topics
- Although basic functionality is similar, different online resources have different interfaces, which can take some getting used to
