Laptop Clinic

The Laptop Clinic at Philadelphia University provides support for personally owned technologies to the faculty, staff and student body. This support is limited to configuration, general software support, general software maintenance and malware removal. Issues outside the scope of the Laptop Clinic's purview are provided in partnership with an external group, the Computer Fixer.

Location: Paul J. Gutman Library, Basement

(Note: Please remember to bring your Laptop's Power Adaptor/Power Cord)

 

The Laptop Clinic Provides Support For:

- Access to Philadelphia University wireless network
- Access to Philadelphia University wired network in residence halls
- Support for printing to Philadelphia University wireless enabled printers and lab printers
- Assistance with virus and spyware removal
- Resident student printer connection support (USB connection only)
- Smart phone/iPhone configuration to access Philau e-mail
- Tablet Support

 

Does Not Provide Support For:

- Hardware related issues
- Personal wireless printer support or printer repair
- Data recovery
- System blue screens
- Software installations/re-installations (including operating systems)
