Using FileZilla FTP to Connect To Your Website

Using FileZilla

1.)

Use the area highlighted in blue to find the location of you website directory.

2.)

Then you locate the web files that you want to upload onto the internet in the area highlighted.

3.)

Once you locate the files that you want to upload onto your web space double click them. They will, then, upload onto your web space and then appear in the Remote Site area of the FileZilla window (highlighted area). Then to make sure they are uploaded open up Internet explorer and type in you website address. (if you are using the school webspace the address is 'http://students.philau.edu/yourusername')

4.)

You can also simply click and drag the files you want to upload onto the Remote Site space (the blue space above). And once again check if they uploaded correctly by opening up your page in Internet Explorer.
