APPLICATION FOR TRANSFER STUDENTS

The Admissions Committee evaluates applications on the basis of their academic merit.  Prospective students seeking to transfer to Philadelphia University should have a minimum cumulative grade point average of a 2.5 from all previous college course work.

If you are interested in applying to the Physician Assistant Program, please refer to the specific admissions policies and procedures set by the department.

Transfer students are strongly encouraged to submit a completed application and supporting materials by February 15 for the fall semester and November 1 for the spring semester.  Please keep in mind that some programs may fill before these recommended dates.  Therefore, we urge you to complete the application process as early as possible.

Transfer Credit
If admitted to Philadelphia University, your official college transcripts will be evaluated for advanced standing.  Transfer students will be admitted with advanced standing provided they have earned quality credit at an accredited two- or four-year college or university.

Advance standing is usually granted for credits in equivalent courses in which the student receives a grade of "C-" or better.

Certain courses in the design field may require a portfolio evaluation for final determination of credit.

All transfer credits must be submitted for evaluation prior to enrollment.
