Biography
My name is Patti and I am a 4th year Environmental and Conservation
Biology major. My hometown is the "Christmas City" (Bethlehem, PA ),
but I have officially fallen in love with Philadelphia and don't
plan on leaving any day soon! I love being so close to the intense
culture and energy of the city and at the same time, a 5 minute walk
from the forests of Fairmount Park and great biking trails. In
addition to working in the admissions office, I am in Philly U's
Christian fellowship club, Cornerstone, and I lead a ladies Bible
study on campus.

Advice for students applying to college: When considering
schools to apply to, don't just look at if they have your program or
not. Decide whether you want to be close to a city or not, if there
are any particular clubs you are looking for, if you need a school
with awesome D1 sports teams or an awesome all-star faculty. Schools
have different personalities and it definitely takes more than a
quick look at their website to see if that personality fits you. Go
for a campus tour, talk to students in the program you're looking
at, e-mail the professors you'll have...You'll be spending about 4
years at this place; put forth the effort to make sure it will be a
good fit for you!
