PHILADELPHIA UNIVERSITY
The Summer START (Student Transition, Advising, Registration & Testing) and
Parent Orientation Program is designed to do just what its name implies: get
transfer students off to a fresh start as they begin the next significant phase of their lives. All new students joining the Philadelphia University community take part in
a START program offered in the summer months. Both incoming commuter and resident students attend a two-day program and spend one night on campus. START is designed to be an eye-opening and enjoyable introduction to the University, its programs and its people.
The Transfer START and Parent Orientation Program held in July is designed to
meet the needs of both resident and commuter transfer students. Overnight
accommodations are available during the July session.

*This session is intended for international students and those who must travel more than 250 miles to campus. Priority for placement in the Aug. 19 -20 session will be given to those meeting this criteria. Also note that the University cannot provide on-campus housing for parents at this session.
