ADMISSIONS POLICY INFORMATION

Philadelphia University subscribes to a “rolling admissions” policy.  What this means is that students may submit an application for admission, along with official high school transcripts and SAT or ACT exam results, any time after September of their senior year.  The Admissions Committee will begin reviewing applications and releasing decisions during the first two weeks of October and decision letters will be mailed within four to six weeks after receiving the necessary application materials.

We do not require recommendation letters or personal statements as part of the application process, but we will gladly accept and review these optional materials.  However, we will not review portfolios as part of the admissions process.

We encourage students to apply early in the academic year as we are not able to guarantee that space will be available in the residence halls or academic programs later in the year.  Once programs and residence halls have been filled, we will begin wait-lists for students who are admissible to the University but whose academic programs or residency preferences are not available.
