Last week was a week of firsts. So here’s an Ode to the Week of Firsts:

First Paper
I wrote my first paper of the semester for US in the Recent Past comparing and contrasting the struggles of African Americans and White Women in 1950’s suburbs. To much preconceived chagrin, the paper was a pleasure to write.

First Major Exam
For History of Architecture and Interiors IV, we had an exam on some major buildings. Among the list were: buildings from the start of the tall office building (Sullivan, H.H. Richardson, etc.),
