“Howudoinah”, is very much a guilty pleasure. One knows that she can be a little too much at times, but who doesn’t enjoy overabundance?

Ok, so in less than a week I will be back on Philadelphia University’s campus. It’s bittersweet. I am excited about getting back to the “campus life”, living on my own and seeing some old-new friends. But, I am not excited about neglecting the familiarity with my hometown of Baltimore nor am I ready to give up the amazing public transportation fees. $ 3.50 for every source of public transportation that I need-the subway, the train and the bus-is something that I regret giving up. Hopefully SEPTA can take my advice and practice the techniques of Baltimore’s fantastic public transportation.

Of course you all know that I am returning to school early due to my position as a RA-Resident Assistant- this year. It is pretty unbelievable; I am anticipating the position and its experiences very much. Wow, let’s see how it goes!
You know what else I am anticipating? I am anticipating my practice in art and design. Promoting art and design-all forms- is something that I am very passionate about, but now, I also have the desire to become the artist and designer. Through photography, design, painting, writing and other forms of art and design, I want to explore my ideas and create discussion. Every time I mention the idea, I get thrilled. I just purchased some paintbrushes and I am in the works of finding myself an amazing camera that will capture my thoughts. I am also brushing up on my writing. Practice makes perfect, right?
And on the subject of art and design:

And on the subject of art and design:

In previous journals, I have mentioned Sheyla and Sharon Laviera, two of my best friends from Baltimore. I remember mentioning that they are adorable, beautiful, amazing , hardworking and intelligent. The adjective I don’t remember mentioning about the two twins is: artistic! These girls are VERY artistic. I’ve known these girls for around three years now, and it was only until yesterday that I became aware of the artists that are inside of them.

There are drawings in their rooms that I just love. I wanted to know who drew them because they just looked marvelous. They were amateur drawings but they had hints of professionalism and depth in them. Sharon humbly revealed to me that she created both drawings. She also showed me some of her photography and I was just in awe. Who knew my Lavieras were budding new artists?

Well darlings, as I am writing this journal I am also writing my itinerary for this week. It’s very simplistic and very messy. But, here it is in brief:

Tuesday: Do Some School Shopping at Wal-Mart and Target
Wednesday: Pick up Chemistry Grades; Have Lunch with Uncle Arthur and Aunt Bert
Thursday: Sleep in Late; Meet Sheyla and Sharon for our Farewell Picnic
Friday: IDK
Saturday: IDK
Sunday: Pack Up All My Junk

At This Very Moment: Finish this journal and type “Till’ Next Time Darlings!”

Till’ Next Time Darlings!
