Tell me about your major:
It keeps me very busy! It is definitely
demanding and requires a strong commitment but it
has to be one of the most rewarding majors.
Science majors get a more hands on approach to
education that other students because we have so
many labs. I also really enjoy my major because we
are a tight knit group of students and work hard to
help each other out. Plus, I think we learn
stuff that is way more interesting than everyone
else.
Why did you become an Ambassador?
I knew that becoming and Ambassador would be a very
rewarding job. It allows me to meet lots of
new people and to help prospective students make one
of the most important decisions in their lives.
It makes me feel closer to the school and I am
constantly learning new things about it.
Are you a member of any clubs or organizations?
Being involved on campus makes a huge difference in
your college experience. I am the treasurer of
Science in Action, and a member of the Asclepius
Society (Pre-Med Society) and an active member of
the Honors Student Association.
What do you like about Philadelphia University?
I like the overall environment of the campus.
The school has a very relaxed atmosphere and it is
small enough that it is easy to get to know lots of
people on campus. I also like that the school
has a small teacher to student ration. I feel that I
get a good personal education which also very
helpful in my major.
Do you have any advice for prospective students
on tour?
Ask lots of questions. You are going to make a
very important decision in your life and you need to
know all the important information. Our job is to
help answer those questions.
What do you like to do in your free time?
I like to watch Grey's Anatomy and read celebrity
magazines.
Do you like Philadelphia cheesesteak? If so,
where can I find the best cheesesteak?
Is it wrong if I say no? I enjoy a cheesesteak
every once in a while, usually from Chubby's right
down Henry Ave.
