University Ambassador Bio

Name: Lindsey
Major: Architectural Studies w/joint MBA
Year: Sophomore
Hometown:
 Duncansville, PA

Tell me about your major:
I am in the 5-year program earning my B.S. in architectural studies and also my MBA. I chose this major because it will give me a foundation in architecture as well as business. This prepares me for jobs in the construction industry, business and other related fields. I want to go into real estate development when I graduate and this program will prepare me to do so.

Why did you become an Ambassador?
I became an ambassador because I want to make an impact on prospective student’s choices to help them choose the right school for them. I think it’s important for prospective students to talk to current students to get a real idea of what it’s really like to go here. Are you a member of any clubs or organizations?
I also work at the registrar’s office where I help students with registration issues.

What do you like about Philadelphia University?
I like the small class sizes because your professors really get to know you whereas at a larger school you could have 200 people in a lecture.

Do you have any advice for prospective students on tour?
Ask every question that comes to mind. It’s our job to inform you of anything you want to know about the school and it’s important that you ask questions so that you are knowledgeable enough to make the right decision as to where you go to school.

What do you like to do in your free time?
I like to spend time with my friends, go shopping in center city and just hang out and relax.

Do you like Philadelphia cheesesteak? If so, where can I find the best cheesesteak?
I love Philly cheesesteaks! My favorite place for cheesesteaks would have to be Gino’s on 1219 South 9th street in
the city.
