Tell me about your major:
I was originally
architecture, then I switched to landscape
architecture and now I am architectural studies! It
is broader than architecture; the only difference is
I cannot get my license. I am looking to go into
real estate development. I found out everything
about architectural studies and how it can bring you
into many different areas of architecture. Not many
people could explain it well to me, so I did the
research and love it. If you have any questions,
let me know!
Why did you become an Ambassador?
I thought it would be a
great way to get involved on campus and to meet some
of the prospective students. I love to talk, so I
can give a lot of information about PhilaU in a
short tour. It’s great to be able to say I helped
in the University recruiting process and that I have
public speaking skills.
Are you a member of any clubs or organizations?
I am the Special Events Chair in Campus Activities
Board, I am a member of the Financial Management
Association, the Student Alumni Association, and I
played softball for a semester.
What do you like about Philadelphia University?
I love the small
environment that you get to know your professors and
all of the students in your major. I enjoy that
it’s “park-like”, the campus is beautiful and quiet,
and it’s only 10 minutes from the city!
Do you have any advice for prospective students
on tour?
Ask questions! I
remember going on tours when I did not want to, and
the tour guide would always say “do you have
questions?”, I would always say “no”. What I did
not realize was that the tour guide was only two or
three years older than me and knew exactly what I
was going through. We love to talk, so ask
questions about anything!
What do you like to do in your free time?
I like to watch movies,
cook and bake, go shopping, and hang out with my
friends.
Do you like Philadelphia cheesesteak? If so,
where can I find the best cheesesteak?
Yes! Pat’s! But I also like Chubby’s, and it is
much closer, so if you come for a tour I will always
suggest Chubby’s.
