Dr. Deniz teaches core courses and electives in Construction Management including Introduction to the Construction Management, Construction Estimate and Scheduling, Construction Information Modeling, Advanced Construction Project Management, and Masters Project. She is a LEED Accredited Professional and has experience in commercial and LEED certified buildings.

Prior to joining Jefferson, Dr. Deniz was a construction management professor for four years in the Department of Civil and Architectural Engineering and Construction Management at Milwaukee School of Engineering in Milwaukee, WI. She has thought a variety of courses in the areas of Building Information Modeling (BIM), Sustainable Design and Construction, LEED, Construction Estimating and Scheduling, Surveying, and other project management topics. Her research interests include sustainable design and development, life cycle assessment, construction simulation and modeling, risk management, decision-making, and construction education. She has related publications in peer-reviewed journals and proceedings.
