Hey there,

Well with the onset of holiday and Black Friday less than a week away things have been crazy at the store. For example, we have hiring goals we have to hit. 78 new employees need to be hired before Thanksgiving which is broken down into 10 new associates a week. With 10 new associates a week, it is extremely difficult to keep track of all the new hires. However the holiday hours have not started and we can only offer the new associates a small number of hours each week. Unfortunately, our new associates are not as happy as we would like them to be. Granted right after Thanksgiving they’ll be begging us to minimize their hours.

We’ve also switched to getting our daily shipments at night instead of during the day, which has been hectic. The guy that delivers our shipment is not the guy we had during the day and he is not as familiar with our products. For example on my way home the other night I noticed that an entire carton of project was left in our back hallway and it was completely unattended. The product in the carton was worth over $1000 and it was sort of upsetting. There are definitely a lot more challenges around this time of year.
