TIP OF THE WEEK

A job search is like a diet:  you don't wake up one day later 10 pounds lighter and you don't wake up the day after you start your search with a job! Break your search into smaller tasks and check out the recently added Job and Internship Search Portfolio on the Career Services web site for guidance and resources:  JobSearchPortfolio.

INTERNSHIP CLOSEUP

Internship Spring Training is in full swing!  If you're considering applying for internships for the summer or fall, now is the time to prepare and get in the game.  Following are some events to help you:

Warm-Up:  Employer Panel:  February 3rd, 11:15 a.m.-12:15 p.m., Tuttleman Auditorium

The following employers will share information about their internship programs as well as tips to help you make the most of your internship:  Aeropostale, Meyer Design, Inc., BCBG, Quaker City Mercantile, Burlington Coat Factory, CBIZ, and Urban Outfitters.

Resume Workouts:  February 4, 11 & 14, 10:00 a.m. - 3:00 p.m. Kanbar 313

Make sure your resume is ready for employers eyes.  Deadlines for summer and even fall internships are fast-approaching.  No appointment needed, just bring your resume draft for a professional critique.
