Each semester, the Career Services Center presents workshops to prepare students for their internships. The series of workshops focus on topics to enhance the student's current or future internship experience. Material offered in these workshops helps ensure that students are putting their best foot forward in their internships, while developing them professionally in order to be well-positioned for potential full-time opportunities. Past workshop topics have included: Making the Most of Your Internship, Workplace Communication Skills, and Presentation Skills: Tips to Success.
Students who are currently completing internships for academic credit are expected to attend the Professional Development workshops offered each semester as part of the internship course, however all students who are currently interning or intending to pursue an internship in the future are encouraged to attend these sessions.
Students can obtain additional information and register for these workshops on CareerLink under the Events tab from their homepage or contact Career Services (215.951.2930) for more information.
