ACADEMIC INTERNSHIPS:

UNDERGRADUATE ELIGIBILITY REQUIREMENTS

 

 

Undergraduate students must meet the following requirements at the time of registration in order to enroll in an internship course*:

• Full-time student status at Philadelphia University
• 60 credits earned (EXCEPTION: Architecture students must have 90 credits)
• If a transfer student, at least 15 credits earned at Philadelphia University
• Minimum of 2.5 GPA (cumulative and in major)

* Undergraduate students may appeal to the designated faculty internship advisor or program director for their major if not meeting an above requirement. Students should contact the Career Services Center for further information.

All undergraduate internship students must maintain a 2.5 grade point average (GPA) while participating in the internship program. Students who fail to maintain the minimum GPA during the first internship term may be denied acceptance for a second internship term, even if the first internship was successfully completed.
