It's hard to believe that my summer internship is almost complete. In these last few weeks I'm focusing on finishing my current projects and taking advantage of everything here at NBCU.

My schedule last week was booked solid because of the filming we were doing at Rockefeller Center. Thankfully I have a great supervisor who allowed me to be at 30Rock for the filmings and come to work right after they finished. On Tuesday morning we had set up a meeting with NBC sports broadcaster Tiki Barber. After our great interview with him, we got to meet the Philadelphia based band, the Roots. The Roots are now Jimmy Fallon's house band so we got to walk by the set, see rehearsal and Jimmy himself!

We had scheduled a meeting with another NBC talent for Wednesday morning, but our plans ended up changing. Because they weren't able to meet with us, their assistant asked if we wanted to try to interview Al Roker. Of course we gladly accepted and ended up meeting with not only Al Roker, but Lester Holt as well. Both of them were so inviting and eager to help answer our questions that we'll be using in our video reel. After the interviews, my group ventured around the NBC News room and got to see where Brian Williams broadcasts his newscast. The whole crew was very helpful in allowing us to film our parts for the video.

The rest of my week was spent on concentrating on the final logo for the Summer Sweepstakes logo. I met again with the creative director who always offer great advice on how to better my designs. Since I'd been working on the same logo for the whole week, it was refreshing to get some creative input from a professional.

On Thursday, I had my one on one meeting with my leader and we talked about how my work was progressing, and my overall thoughts on the internship. I'm getting to work on many different projects, and am getting my needed practice working with the computer.

By the end of the week I had plenty to work on between my side project for another website in the group, starting next weeks logo, and filming/preparing for my group's final presentation for the video contest.

Today we're meeting with Ann Curry and our group can't wait to get the opportunity to interview with her. I'll keep you posted on how the meeting goes!!
