Become a Mentor: How It Works

  1. Mentees will research profiles within the PhilaU Mentor Connect group to identify potential mentors based on career history, a shared major, alumni specialties and experiences.
  2. Mentees initiate outreach, requesting the opportunity to meet in order to explore a potential “fit”.  This is an opportunity for the mentor and mentee to interview one another.
  3. Both parties must feel comfortable when entering into a mentor/mentee relationship.  After the first meeting, the mentor and mentee must communicate directly with one another regarding their interest in pursuing a mentee/mentor relationship.  There are no guarantees of finding a match.
