The Kanbar College of Design, Engineering and Commerce offers an innovative and transdisciplinary approach to teaching and learning that provides students with the skills and knowledge to think creatively, brainstorm out-of-the-box ideas and work collaboratively to come up with innovations in products and services. By bringing design, engineering and business disciplines together, the College pushes students to think beyond the boundaries of existing academic fields and focus on innovation through teamwork, collaboration and connections with industry partners, with an emphasis on critical thinking and real-world problem solving skills.
Undergraduate programs in the College include accounting, animation, engineering, fashion design, fashion industry management, fashion merchandising, finance, graphic design communication, industrial design, interactive design and media, international business, management, marketing, textile design and textile materials technology. Graduate programs include business administration (M.B.A.), fashion apparel studies, industrial design, interactive design and media, taxation, textile design and textile engineering (M.S. and Ph.D.).
The College of Science, Health and the Liberal Arts is home to a multi-disciplinary faculty and innovative curriculum in history, the humanities, mathematics, the sciences, the social sciences and the health professions.
