Wristbands

Information for Graduates

All guests must be wearing a wristband to enter the Commencement Ceremony.  Guests must wear the wristband throughout the entire ceremony. 

Commencement Ceremony Wristbands

10:00 am Ceremony: Each graduating associate's or bachelor's degree student walking in the ceremony will receive FIVE wristbands. An announcement will be made in late April if we have extra wristbands available. 

2:30 pm Ceremony: Each graduating master's and doctoral degree student walking in the ceremony will receive TEN wristbands.  An announcement will be made in late April if we have extra wristbands available. 

Graduating students do not need a wristband to attend their Commencement ceremony.

How to Get Your Wristbands
Wristbands will be distributed at Grad Finale on April 11 and 12, 2018 in the Kanbar Campus Center Performance Space from noon to 7 p.m.  All students wishing to participate in the Commencement ceremony MUST stop by the Grad Finale to get their wristbands and pick up their cap and gown. 

Information for Guests

All seating is by general admission. All guests attending the ceremony MUST wear a wristband to enter.

The University is NOT responsible for lost or misplaced wristbands. Replacement wristbands will NOT be available and there will be no additional wristbands available outside of the allotment per graduating student.

The selling or buying of University Commencement wristbands is strictly prohibited. Please be cautious of offers to sell or buy Commencement wristbands. Wristbands hold no official resale value. Commencement wristbands are solely for the purpose of allowing the friends and relatives of graduating students to attend the ceremony. All unwanted wristbands should be returned to the Provost’s Office if a graduate or guest(s) no longer plans to attend University Commencement.
