Philadelphia University can support civic engagement efforts through student employment in severals ways.  Annually, five Community Service Coordinators are selected to to help support on-campus educational programs and off-campus service events.  In addition, Service Coordinators act as a resource to their peers who are interested in getting involved in community service.  Additinally, Philadelphia University students who are awarded work study funds and choose to use their award to perform community service are hosted by local nonprofit agencies, working off-campus in support of the mission of these community partners.
