<< Accelerated Degree Completion Program for Adult Learners
BACHELOR OF SCIENCE IN BEHAVIORAL AND HEALTH SERVICES
Targeting the needs of current day health-care providers who work in a variety of professional environments – particularly those students interested in completing their B.S. degrees for entry into master’s programs such as the MS in Occupational Therapy – this program provides a foundation in developmental, organizational, abnormal, and counseling psychology. Students complete an in-depth, work-based project focusing on the applications of behavioral health and neurorehabilitation in a specific professional environment.

 This program is intended for adults who have a base of 60 credits to apply to their BS degrees. These credits are acquired through block transfer of credits from previously attended, accredited colleges and universities and/or credits earned by taking courses at Philadelphia University and/or credits earned for lifelong learning experiences (i.e. professional, personal, educational) that are granted by faculty after compilation and submission of a directed portfolio. Credits must include college-level courses in Writing, Math, Scientific Reasoning, History, Social Science, Humanities and Information Systems.
(Please note: Information Systems training or coursework required within 5 years of enrollment in the program.)
