HOW TO APPLY
Making the most of your time is important to you and to us. That’s why we’ve made it easy and convenient for you to apply for admission, meet with an advisor, transfer previously earned credits, schedule your classes, park on campus, and experience the accomplishment of completing a class in just eight weeks.
We invite you to read through all general information about our accelerated bachelor of science degree completion program.
We then recommend that you contact the Office of Continuing and Professional Studies at 215.951.2900 or email: evening@PhilaU.edu to discuss your situation in more detail.
We offer:
Rolling admissions:
A student can apply for admission into the
program at any time by submitting official transcripts
from prior colleges and/or universities;
interviewing with an academic advisor and submitting
the Application Form.
Eight-week terms:
Completing a course in eight weeks makes it possible to move quickly through your program and feel a sense of accomplishment from the very beginning. Courses are scheduled once a week with an option of 6-10 p.m. in the evening or 9 a.m. - 1p.m. on Saturdays. Beginning Fall 2009, some courses will also be offered in an online format.
Five terms per year:
Start dates for the terms are mid-January;
mid-March;mid-May;mid-September and mid-November.
With five terms, you can apply for admission
throughout the year, not just at the beginning of a
traditional semester.
The opportunity to experience the University:
Students can take up to two courses as a
non-matriculated student. In this way, you’ll get
the feel of returning to the classroom prior to
applying to and acceptance into the Program.
A representative from Philadelphia University will be happy to guide you through the process of application and answer any/all questions you might have. Contact The Office of Continuing and Professional Studies at Philadelphia University at 215.951.2900 or email: evening@PhilaU.edu.
