The Undergraduate Accelerated Bachelor of Science Degree Completion Program

Philadelphia University's Accelerated Degree Completion Program for Adult Learners can put you firmly on the path to gaining these benefits by earning your degree in less time than you think. In this program, the emphasis is on academic and personal success and the limitless possibilities the future will offer.
The following Bachelor of Science degrees are available and offered in an accelerated format:
Behavioral and Health Services,
Health Sciences,
Health Services Management,
Human Resource Management,
Information Technology,
Law
Enforcement Leadership,
Leadership in Emergency Services,
Organizational Leadership, and
Pre-MBA.
Admission Requirements
Students must have a minimum of 30 transferrable credits in order to be eligible for the Accelerated Bachelor of Science Degree Completion Program. Credits must include college-level courses in Writing, Math, Science, History, Social Science, Humanties and Information Systems. A student can apply for admission at any time by submitting an application, formal academic transcripts, a current resume, a personal essay, an application fee and interviewing with an academic advisor. Academic Advising
Philadelphia University recognizes that balancing career, academic and family responsibilites is important to adult learners. That's why we provide a supportive environment with personal attention for every student. Academic advising is an integral part of the student's educational experience at
Philadelphia U. Advisors will help adult students transition to the University environment,
explain the various programs of study, assist in selection of classes and faciliate personel and professional development. Advisors are available at both our Main Campus in East Falls and our Bucks County campus. Students are best served by scheduling an appointment in
advance; telephone appointments are also available. To meet or speak with an advisor on the

Financial Aid
The Financial Aid Office provides information about financial planning and distributes
financial aid resources to qualified students. Grant and loan packages are available even
to part-time students enrolling in at least six credits per semester. Students should
start the financial aid application process before enrolling at the University. For

Credit by Examination
Students wishing to receive credit for certain professional or life experiences may do
so through the College-Level Examination Program (CLEP). Philadelphia University awards
full college credit to students who successfully complete any of over 20 CLEP exams. Not all CLEP tests may be taken for credit; hence, students are
strongly encouraged to speak with an academic advisor before registering for a test. To

Students with Disabilities
Students who are disabled and need special arrangements should contact Continuing and Professional Studies early in the application process. Special advising, registration
assistance, preferential scheduling and alternative examination procedures are available.
