Study Abroad at Philadelphia University
Study Abroad at Philadelphia University prepares students for
successful participation and competition in an increasingly interdependent
world, and to perform with distinction in the international and multicultural
contexts that are increasingly shaping professional life.
Students at Philadelphia University may study abroad and receive
credit for courses that apply directly to their challenging,
professions-oriented curricula. Opportunities are available for fall,
spring and summer semesters.
Semester-long programs are available in many disciplines, including:
- Architecture
- Fashion Design
- Fashion Merchandising
- Graphic Design
- International Business
- Interior Design
- International Business
- Textile Design
In addition, Philadelphia University faculty-led "short
courses" - programs that occur over a holiday or semester break - are
offered in direct conjunction with some courses. These optional study
excursions extend the classroom into the field abroad and afford students the
exciting opportunity to study "on-site" in their major and with their
regular faculty. For the 2001-2002 academic year, short courses are being planned that
will take students to Paris, Milan and the Dominican Republic. Visit our Short
Programs page or contact the
Study Abroad office for details.
