Nexus Learning and Nexus Online Grants

Annually, the Center of Teaching Innovation and Nexus Learning offers grants to faculty (full and part time) and staff who propose innovative ways to strengthen Jefferson University's commitment to Nexus Learning.  Grants allow faculty and staff members to research, implement, assess, and disseminate novel pedagogies that exemplify Nexus teaching and learning strategies. Grant proposals are due in early February 2019. Learn more about submitting a grant.

Talking Teaching
This weekly informal gathering of faculty and staff to discuss aspects of teaching and learning. Discussions are seeded by short articles or videos dealing with any academic (pedagogical, professional, technological) issue. Come join our group in the Common Thread Fishbowl (Private Dining Lounge), bring your lunch, and chat about issues centric to teaching and learning. NO RSVPs NEEDED - Just drop-in!

Faculty and Staff Reading and Implementation Groups
Over free lunches, faculty and staff meet weekly during the semester to discuss a selected book and challenge each other to implement various strategies that increase student learning and create safe, productive, and inclusive learning spaces.
