Those who have not registered and/or been assigned a volunteer service project should go to the registration table Tuesday, Sept. 15 morning to be placed in a project. The registration table will be located on the patio outside of the Kanbar Campus Center Living Room.

There are several ways students can participate in Day of Service activities:

• A class or academic program
• A club/organization
• An athletic team
• An individual volunteer

Steps to sign up for a Day of Service project:

1. Check your syllabi to see if your professor is assigning a Day of Service project for your class.



2. Also check if you are involved in a club/organization and/or an athletic team to see if your club/org/team is signing up for a project.



3. If you are not already signed up for a project, sign up as an individual volunteer.
   
   
4. If you are part of more than one class, club/org or athletic team that is signing up for a Day of Service project, you will have to talk with your professor, coach and club/org leader about what project you will participate in. After you figure out what class, club/org or team you will participate with on Day of Service, register for the project.

Volunteers will be notified by email a week prior to Day of Service. Information provided to you will include the name of your Project Leader, contact information, the project name and location, a start time and the length of time your project will take. The Project Leader will also be in contact with you to notify you when and where to meet on the Day of Service.
