In 2007-8 Tod teaches InD Design Studios 1, 6, 7, and Professional Practice II. He is currently developing an industrial design graduate program, and oversees the InD program's research initiatives and technology strategy.
Prior to teaching full time, Tod was an award-winning lead designer for Cloud Gehshan Associates in Philadelphia. When not teaching, he runs his design practice, Public Works, focused on design in public space. He has been active in IDSA for years and is currently Northeast District Education Representative to the IDSA Board.
