Special Thanks

Generosity of spirit and talent made this exhibition possible. Within Todd Oldham's studio his assistants Lauren Smith, Kelli Hartline, Hillary Moore and Josh Geurtsen worked tirelessly to help plan and execute the design of this show as well as all the printed material associated with it. Architect Phil Otto and his firm Otto Design Group/ODG masterfully produced all the fixtures.

His crew includes: Karl Peters, Scott Minto, Paul Mangan, Rich Pepe, Dan Wecal and Jake Henry. Joe Schiavo and Janet Kalter of OLC in Old City helped The Design Center procure new gallery lighting. We are also grateful to Artemide Lighting for their donation. Visual Director Scot Key and Saks Fifth Avenue generously lent mannequins for the run of the show. Brian Foster and Ernie Sesskin gave up a pair of Saturdays to help install the show, while Philadelphia University's own Tom Becker and his staff including Jim Bolton and Mark Magarity worked miracles on the Paley house. The Design Center staff and interns championed the exhibition from beginning to end: Nancy Packer, the collection curator; Amanda Mullin, Kiersten Wilhelm, Victoria Inman, Nick Agnew, Monica Gursky, David Monroe, Audrey Lowe. Design historian George Marcus named the exhibition. And finally, my deepest thanks to Todd Oldham for lending his imagination, his painterly eye and his vision to help launch The Design Center in its reinvention.
