Take the Schuylkill Expressway I-76) to the Lincoln Drive exit, #32. Follow Lincoln drive to Rittenhouse Street (second right). Take Rittenhouse Street to the first light. Turn right onto Wissahickon Avenue. Follow Wissahickon to School House Lane (second traffic light). Turn right onto School House Lane. At the first traffic light, turn right onto Henry Avenue. At the traffic light turn left on Philadelphia U. Drive. A sign at the driveway indicates The Design Center at Philadelphia University; follow the driveway to the parking area by the front door.
Take City Line Avenue (Route 1 North) to Lincoln Drive. Follow above directions from Center City Philadelphia.
Take I-95 North to I-76 West. Follow above directions from Center City Philadelphia.
Exit the Turnpike at Norristown, Plymouth Meeting (exit #25/333). Turn right after the exit and head east on Germantown Pike to first traffic light. Turn right onto Chemical Road. Go through three lights. At the fourth light, make a left at the five-point intersection onto Ridge Pike. Follow Ridge Pike for approximately 3.5 miles to the Henry Avenue cutoff that bears left. Follow Henry Avenue approximately 6 miles. Crossing the Henry Avenue Bridge, at the traffic light turn right on Philadelphia U. Drive and into The Design Center’s driveway. If you pass School House Lane, you’ve gone too far.
Take the New Jersey turnpike to the Pennsylvania Turnpike. Exit the Pennsylvania Turnpike at Norristown, Plymouth Meeting (Exit #25/333). Follow above directions from the Northeast Extension.
Take the SEPTA R8 Fox Chase & Chestnut Hill West Line (Brown Line) to the Queen Lane Station. Walk west on Wissahickon Avenue to School House Lane, and turn left. Cross Henry Avenue and turn right. Proceed on the sidewalk to the traffic light at the Philadelphia Univ. Drive, turn left and walk up the hill of The Design Center driveway. A sign will indicate The Design Center at Philadelphia University (15 minute walk).
Take the SEPTA R6 Norristown, Green Line to the East Falls Station. Walk west (left) on Cresson Street to second intersection. Turn right onto Calumet Street. Walk to second intersection. Turn left onto Warden Drive, left onto Vaux Street and right onto School House Lane. At the first intersection turn left onto Henry Avenue. Proceed on the sidewalk to the traffic light at the Philadelphia Univ. Drive, turn left and walk up the hill of The Design Center driveway. A sign will indicate The Design Center at Philadelphia University (15 minute walk).
Route 32 from Center City stops directly across the street from The Design Center. Exit at the stop on Henry Avenue at Philadelphia Univ Drive. Cross Henry Avenue and proceed on the sidewalk to a driveway entrance to the center. A sign will indicate The Design Center at Philadelphia University.
