Administrative Responsibilities for Grants and Other Funding

 

PRINCIPAL INVESTIGATOR

By initializing a sponsored project, the faculty or authorized staff member assumes responsibilities and obligations that begin with the preparation of the proposal and continue throughout the conduct of the project.   A project is not concluded until the final report and other grant or contract-closing documents are completed.

 

 As Principal Investigator/Project Director/Project Manager, the faculty or staff member is responsible for the following:
