Billy Harris Scholarship
The scholarship commemorates Billy Harris, a
1974 graduate and former director of alumni affairs and sports
information and son of Bucky and Lorraine Harris. The Billy Harris
Scholarship is awarded to students who excel in leadership, academics
and athletics - all areas of importance in Billy’s life.
In 1986, Billy succumbed to a courageous
battle with leukemia. His parents initiated the scholarship fund the
very next year in honor of him.
