Joseph A. Matusz

Joe is Vice President of the International Banking Trade Services Group for Citizens Bank. Joe joined Citizens Bank in May 2003 from Wachovia Bank. Joe is responsible for international trade services sales and marketing efforts in Central & Eastern Pennsylvania, New Jersey and Delaware.

Joe spent more than 30 years with Wachovia and its predecessor banks (First Union, First Fidelity Bank, Fidelity Bank and First Pennsylvania Bank) in a variety of trade services roles. Most recently, Joe was responsible for marketing and implementing trade banking products and services for finance companies and their clients throughout the United States.

Joe also has trade banking operations experience with specific emphasis in letters of credit, documentary collections and bankers acceptances.

Joe also worked for Manufacturers Hanover with responsibility for the international correspondent banking activities at Manufacturers Hanover Bank (Delaware). Prior to joining Manufacturers Hanover Joe worked for a regional international trade consulting firm.

Joe has conducted numerous trade services seminars for the US Department of Commerce and various local colleges & universities. Joe is a past treasurer of the World Trade Association of Philadelphia.
