Philadelphia University’s fifth episode of Runway Challenge aired March 31 at 2
p.m. on NBC10’s 10! show. This week’s challenge, as described by Fashion Design Program Director Clara Henry was "designing for a customer that has great expectations... materneity wear for a well-known celebrity."
Students chose from among pregnant celebrities like Nicole Kidman, Jessica Alba and others for inspiration for their designs. Fabrics were provided by A Pea in the Pod.
Karen Bloomfield's design for Kate Blanchett took the top spot. Andjela
Vukancic was eliminated from the competition.
