Welcome to Philadelphia University!  We are looking forward to your arrival.  The purpose of this website is to provide you with important information about the START orientation program for first-year students on Wednesday, August 19, 2009.
 

All new students, including freshmen, transfer and international students are required to participate in this program.  International students will be receiving more detailed information from Ms. Hannah Bar-Giora, Director of International Student Programs.

During START, you will take part in a number of activities with other entering students.  You will be meeting with Academic Advisors and receive your class schedule.  This website and START schedule provides you with a preview of the program; however, you will receive a more complete, updated schedule of events during START check-in.

Special note for resident students:  If you will be a residential student, you may move into your residence hall space between the hours of 3-5pm on Tuesday, August 18, 2009.  Please consult your housing assignment letter for your residence hall assignment.  Meals will be available throughout the START Program.  Your Resident Assistant will let you know the time and location of your first hall meeting. If you have questions regarding on-campus housing or move-in, please refer to the housing assignment letter mailed to you from the Office of Residence Life or call (215) 951-2741.
