
The Learning and Advising Center at Philadelphia University provides comprehensive academic enhancement and support for all students. It is the primary resource for stduents of all levels who wish to get the most from their academic experience.
Services at the Learning and Advising Center include indivudual academic advising for first-year students and peer tutoring services for courses across university curricula. Professional writing tutoring and study skills development advance students' academic success.
During your first year at Philadelphia University, interacting with your first-year advisor will benefit you in the following ways:
- Assistance from advising as an extension of teaching
- Outreach from a facutly first-year advisor
- Assist you with the production of your educational plan
- Construction of your personal portfolio
- Referrals to University resources
- Professional connections
This component of FYE is supported by the Learning and Advising Center.
