Study Abroad

The MS in Sustainable Design program has two excellent study abroad opportunities for students to gain an international perspective on sustainability. These programs are for on-campus students only.

Summer Study Abroad: DIS at Copenhagen

Students spend three to six weeks in Copenhagen learning about sustainability and traveling around Europe. Course taken at the DIS count as MS in Sustainable Design electives. To explore more about the program click here.

Short courses: Slavonice, Czech Republic*

Each spring, the MS in Sustainable Design program sends four students to the Czech Republic as part of UPenn's short courses. Students in this program help a small medieval town find ways to be more sustainable. Students then go on to spend time in Prague meeting with sustainability experts and seeing the latest green buildings.

* Not offered every year
