Global Medical Brigade

Apart of what makes your experience in the Philadelphia University’s health sciences program is your ability to make a real difference in the world as an undergraduate, at any point of your education – even your freshman year.

Each year, PhilaU students go to countries in need with the Global Medical Brigade to help make an impact on poverty-stricken communities’ medical insufficiencies.  Over the years, our students have gone to various places in Central America and Africa.

While serving these communities, health sciences students triage patients, work directly with medical providers, help dentists and assist pharmacists with medicine distribution.
