PhilaU offers two combined degree programs associated with Health Sciences: the B.S. in Health Sciences/M.S. in Physician Assistant Studies and the B.S. in Health Sciences/M.S. in Occupational Therapy. These combined degree programs are designed for students who know early in their education decision process that they want professional careers as physician assistants or occupational therapists. These programs allow students to complete the undergraduate and graduate degrees more quickly than if they pursued each degree separately. Applicants to these programs are accepted as freshmen and they remain in their respective programs until completion of the graduate degree, provided they meet progression criteria. Students fulfill major requirements for the B.S. during their first three years of undergraduate coursework and proceed to graduate-level work during their fourth year.
