Transfer of Credit Policies and Articulation Agreements

Philadelphia University actively seeks partnerships with domestic and international institutions of higher education to enhance curricular opportunities for PhilaU students and to advance PhilaU’s strategic enrollment objectives. Listed below are the current, active agreements and those that are under negotiation.         

As part of any partnership, PhilaU establishes memoranda of understanding or articulation agreements outlining the types of study an affiliated student might pursue.  The possibilities include a) articulation for transfer admission; b) submatriculation (e.g. 3+2, 4+1, or dual enrollment), c) Early Assurance Program, and d) short-term exchange.  Exchange agreements may be for “even” or “uneven” exchanges between partners, or for only incoming or outgoing students. Articulation agreements for transfer and sub-matriculation must list the course equivalencies.
