QUALIFICATIONS: |
- 7 to 10 years of development experience as well as staff and volunteer management experience, preferably in a higher education setting.
- Experience in proposal writing for foundations and corporations; strategic planning; budget development highly desirable.

| EDUCATION
REQUIRED: |
- Bachelor’s degree required; Master’s degree preferred.
|
|
RESPONSIBILITIES: |
- Oversees alumni relations, parent relations and foundation and corporate relations, overseeing staff in all four areas.
- Critical to this leadership role is the engagement of constituents outside of the University with its mission and fundraising goals.
- Coordination of proposals and related materials to external funding sources as well as the ongoing identification of potential new funding opportunities.
- Manages a comprehensive stewardship program for foundations, corporations and government agencies.
- Will carry a portfolio of gift prospects.
